The Baltic Triangle, a vibrant hub of creativity and culture in Liverpool, is about to get even cooler.

The district is already a leading tourist destination thanks to its distinctive bars, restaurants, and shops, and is set to welcome BOXPARK, an innovative dining and entertainment space.

With a £5m investment, BOXPARK's 15-year lease with Cains Brewery Village will bring 150 new jobs to the local community and champion independent businesses through its diverse food and entertainment offerings.

This 21,000 sq ft venue will be the first BOXPARK to open outside of London, following in the footsteps of its successful counterparts in Shoreditch, Croydon, and Wembley. The arrival of BOXPARK is expected to significantly impact the local community, providing a much-needed space for emerging musical artists to showcase their talent.

Ranked by Time Out in 2023 as the 11th coolest place to live globally and the coolest in the UK, the Baltic Triangle attracts artists, musicians, and food enthusiasts. Making it a perfect home for BOXPARK's first venue in the NorthWest.

Head of Hospitality at the Baltic Triangle CIC Peter Hunter said that the "people of Liverpool already know the magic of the Baltic Triangle, and hopefully, with BOXPARK here, many more people will be drawn to the area and discover that magic for themselves."

Having served on the Baltic Triangle CIC Board and operated businesses in the area for the past 15 years, Peter Hunter hopes this development will "prompt the council to address transportation needs. The influx of people expected with BOXPARK will highlight the urgent need for improved transport links."

BOXPARK Liverpool is set to open on Friday, the 19th of April, with a festival-style weekend that will include performances by DJs like Girls Don't Sync, Enzo Is Burning, Jade Edwards, and Amber Rose.

One of the resident DJs, Mervyn Lynch, also known as DJ 2Kind, has been a prominent figure in the Liverpool music scene for over 20 years. He is incredibly excited about the opportunities BOXPARK will present to aspiring musicians and DJs in the city.
